Parents Agents Muliplicateurs (PAM) Project

The Parents Agents Multiplicateurs (PAM) Project is a training program offered to immigrant women of various origins to better understand the services and resources available in Parc-Extension and to become a reference point in their community. During the three-month training period, there are 2 weekly 2-hour meetings: a workshop on a community resource as well as a session on personal development.

This initiative has won the hearts of many community partners with its mission to break social isolation, promote well-being and improve women’s autonomy. These new leaders in the immigrant community produced by the PAM Project are playing an increased role in the integration of

newcomers in Parc-Extension. They act as intermediaries between the immigrant population and the host society in order to facilitate collaboration within the neighbourhood, schools and other institutions.
